The final boss? Took forever but it’s finally here. With the departure of Zurenriri also means some changes to the script. A few names have been adjusted to match what is used on the Blue Dragon wiki. Note, there is one spelling error in the preview but I decided against having it re-encoded for a one letter change. Sorry about that! Direct all complaints to Cecelia.

Just a quick status update for the BD fans out there and the archivers desperately waiting for Akikan 12.

I’m posting this having signed on to IRC today for the first time in 2 months but it seems like everyone’s still breathing.

The bad news is that I (Zurenriri) leave for basic military training on April 3, 2011 which will leave Corona without a typesetter. Of course Blue Dragon needs little typesetting work, but Akikan and other future projects are different. So here’s the deal: if you have ANY experience in typesetting whatsoever and would like to help out, join our IRC at #corona @ irc.rizon.net and talk to one of the ops. If you don’t have any experience but are willing to learn, please send an e-mail to ztri sta rie3 @g ma il.co m (remove the spaces) and we’ll talk.

If you have any other skills that might be helpful to us, still drop by our IRC and talk to us. Or just drop by and talk, we get lonely sometimes. ;_;

What? Something that isn’t Blue Dragon or Akikan? You better believe it!  This is a four-minute short that was included on Heroman BD Volume 2.  It could be considered an episode 0, since it takes place right before episode 1.  Anyway, enjoy!

Edit:  There are no short bonus episodes on Volumes 1, 3, 4, and 6 (Volume 7-9 are not listed on Amazon yet), but Volume 5 will have another short 3-minute special called “Promise” (probably EX-2).  BD Volume 5 is scheduled to be released on 12/22, so expect some subs for it sometime after then.
